time smudge
Sometimespeople look as though
they are in a faster time
than mine.
frazzled, shaken,
my view of them shows
flying hair, rumpled clothes
in their time
their clothes and hair
have settled around them
naturally.
My time gets smudged
like a child's hand
on finger paints
