notes on music in the ether

Creating music with computers is an entirely different realm from creating music with traditional instruments. I sometimes find it frustrating to not be able to immediately express myself.

I have always been of the opinion that the better one gets at a particular musical tool, the more what you play sounds like what's in your head.

The philosophical extension of this is to conclude that I am only a lightening rod.

I firmly believe this. Music is already out there, everywhere. You just have to know how to channel it.
