joining yet another band
This band who is looking for a drummer and a guitar player contacted myself and Dan. We are a drummer and a guitar player.The problem was that they wanted us to learn all their songs in one night and then play them for an A&R guy the next day.
Not the best way to go about getting signed.
We auditioned, and they liked us. The music sucks giant ass, but gigs are gigs. To be fair. it doesn't suck, but it's all very slow. No groove to be found, no funk in attendance.
But I can deal, if I just get to play music for a living after 27 years of fucking waiting for it.
We'll have our showcase pretty soon. I have no idea how it will turn out.
